@ 0xabad1dea Great neighbours whichever way you turn!

@ 0xabad1dea I used to have a dictionary of interesting numbers, and the first “boring” number had a similar description, “the fact that it’s not interesting is interesting in itself, which makes it an interesting number”

    @ 0xabad1dea 68 hasn't caught on yet but I believe

  4. @eviltofu@kopiti.am · 1 points · 1h ago

    @ 0xabad1dea 69 is funnier than 68 then!

  5. @bluestaggo@wetdry.world · 1h ago

@ eviltofu @ 0xabad1dea Extrapolating from that: 66 is an overtly heinous number that should never be laid upon the ears of absolutely anybody. Meanwhile, 70 is peak comedy gold and always turns everyone hysterical.

@ 0xabad1dea 68 is funny in the following way: “you do me and I owe you one”

  7. @simonzerafa · 1 points · 1h ago

@ 0xabad1dea Sounds a little like the Uninteresting Number theory 😉

  8. @Ncstarguy@universeodon.com · 2 points · 1h ago

@ 0xabad1dea It’s like the Heisenberg Principle, for numbers.

  9. @StumpyTheMutt@social.linux.pizza · 1h ago

@ 0xabad1dea Douglas Adams created an entire comedy universe around the number 42. How can anything be more funny than that?

  10. @arem@ottawa.place · 56m ago

@ 0xabad1dea Stanley Parable already undercut the two digit numbers with the eight button.

  11. @bittner@hachyderm.io · 1 points · 42m ago

@ 0xabad1dea I maintain prime numbers are inherently more funny than non-primes.

@ bittner @ 0xabad1dea Yeah, but with a single exception, they are all so odd.
